Founded by two graduates of the United States Military Academy, the Steel Hearts Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to honoring the legacies of the fallen cadets, midshipmen, and graduates of America’s service academies. We sell unique, acid-etched steel commemorative bracelets, designed by the family and friends, to raise money and awareness for charities and organizations of their choosing.
For every bracelet sold, $10 goes to a veteran charity or organization designated by the fallen graduate’s family.
We work directly with the fallen’s families to design these bracelets and connect them with the respective charities or organizations. Since our founding in 2014, we have sold over 11,000 bracelets and raised over $400,000 to over 45 charities, memorial scholarships and funds, and veteran organizations. We realize no profit from the bracelet sales.
We pride ourselves on transparency- in 2022, Steel Hearts earned a Gold Seal of Transparency with Candid GuideStar, the world’s largest information source on nonprofit organizations.
