Max was lost on February 15, 2014, the victim of a fatal automobile accident.

Max was an Oceanography major and his assigned service selection was Naval Flight Officer.

Max was proud to be a member of the Brigade of Midshipmen. He had an intense belief in the Navy’s Core Values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment, and it was demonstrated in his relationships with his fellow midshipmen. “He was a servant-leader.” “He had the biggest heart.” “He would tell you the truth, whether you wanted it or not.” “His joy, energy, and enthusiasm were contagious.” “He had a natural way of making people feel better; they always gravitated to him.”
