SGT Nathan P. Kennedy
SGT Nathan P. Kennedy, 24, of Claysville, Pa.; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colo.; died April 27 near Abad, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when enemy forces attacked his unit using small-arms fire.
Kennedy received several awards for his service, including the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.
Proceeds from the SGT Nathan P. Kennedy bracelet will be donated to Legacies Alive.
