CPT Mark C. Paine, 32, of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., died Oct. 15, 2006 in Taji, Iraq, from injuries suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. Paine was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 66th Armor Regiment, 1st Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.

Proceeds from CPT Paine bracelets will be donated to the Mark C. Paine Servant Leadership Award Fund.
