Cpl Jacob M. Moore

Cpl Jacob M. Moore

We, his mother, father, and sister, are forever proud of our beloved Jacob. At the age of thirteen, he gave his life to the LORD Jesus Christ, and from that faith came the courage to serve his country with honor, even unto death.

Jacob, 24, of Catlettsburg, Kentucky, died on March 19, 2022, in a MV-22 Osprey crash during a training exercise in Norway, while on active duty with the U.S. Marine Corps.

Jacob loved his family deeply and filled our lives with laughter, joy, and unforgettable moments. He enjoyed music, gaming, building Legos, time with friends, and practicing marksmanship with great responsibility. His buddies knew him as loyal, strong, and quick to lift spirits with a smile or joke.

Above all, Jacob’s greatest love was for God. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7). He lived and died in the Lord, and now his testimony continues to shine.

We pray that his life and sacrifice point others to Jesus Christ, the One who gives true life and eternal hope.

Proceeds from the sale of each Cpl Moore memorial bracelet will be donated to Wear blue run to remember.
