Captain Jordan B. Pierson, 28, from Abilene, Texas passed away on 2 Oct 2015 near Jalalabad Air Field, Afghanistan of injuries sustained when his C-130 aircraft, TORQUE 62, went down on departure from the airfield. Captain Pierson was assigned to the 39th Airlift Sq, Dyess Air Force Base, Texas.
