C3C Hunter Brown (USAFA '25)

from $35.00

On January 9, 2023, Hunter Brown was unexpectedly called home at the young age of 21.

Hunter was born on February 25, 2001 in Jacksonville, FL, where his dad was stationed with the U.S. Navy.  Hunter grew up in Lake Charles, LA, was a life-long member of Trinity Baptist Church, and a graduate of Barbe High School where he played football, baseball, and was on the track team. Following graduation, he enrolled in the United States Air Force Academy Prep School.  He was then accepted into the United States Air Force Academy.  Hunter was an offensive lineman on the Air Force Falcons Football team.  At the Academy, he was pursuing a degree in Business Management and earned a minor degree in French.  His ultimate goal was to become a pilot for the Air Force.  Hunter was an avid sports fan.  He loved family, friends, and the Bolt Brotherhood.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Candyce and Dustin Brown; his sister, Presley Brown of Lake Charles; the love of his life, Raegan Cole of Lake Charles; maternal grandparents, Sue Musgrove of Lake Charles and Sylvia McLain (Bryan) of Lafayette; maternal great grandmother, Theresa Musgrove of Moss Bluff; aunts and uncles, Paul Brown (Dena), Kelli David (Brandon), Michael Brown, and Cody Musgrove (Kelsey); and cousins, Lauryn David, Blake David, Erica Brown, Hannah Brown, Benjamin David, Sarah David, Morgan David, and Miller Musgrove.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Tommy and Kaye Brown and maternal grandfather, Wade Musgrove.

All proceeds from Hunter’s bracelets will be donated to the USAFA Rando Fund. The Rando fund proves free travel for a cadet honor guard in the event of a fellow cadet's passing, the Rando Fund also provides need-based financial support to cadets who may not have the resources to travel home during emergencies such as a death in their family, a serious family illness or injury to a family member.
