From Jimmy’s obituary:

Jimmy was a proud member of the 8th Company. During his 1/C year, Jimmy served as a Squad Leader. He was also an active member on the USNA YP Squadron and the Navy Paintball Team. Originally an Electrical Engineering major, Jimmy switched to General Engineering at the end of his 2/C Year. He intended to pursue the Surface Warfare community following graduation.

A man of a million hobbies, Jimmy wanted to try everything, and he never settled to do it halfway. It was all or nothing, so Jimmy put his heart and soul into every endeavor that crossed his path.

Jimmy excelled as a mentor and friend with his larger than life personality. He was known to always be walking the halls or socializing in the company wardroom. He enjoyed nothing more than making other people smile. He insisted on stopping to joke with every person that crossed his path. Jimmy was a friend to all, so much so that he could not walk five feet without seeing someone he knew.

He was a lover, and always a gentleman. No matter the time of day or location, no matter what was going on in his life, Jimmy would set aside everything to make sure others were happy.
